MarketWatch: H-P’s new CEO lowers the bar for earnings

Commentary: New guidance seems to meet the Goldilocks standard. Hewlett-Packard Co.’s revised guidance for next year’s earnings was perhaps a bit lighter than some on Wall Street had predicted, but the new bar gives both its new chief Meg Whitman and the company some breathing room in a tough economy.
